Knowing

Well, my plans with Lindy have pretty much fallen through.. due to a long list of reasons I won't go into. So I'm stuck at home until Christmas again.. Doing what I have been doing.. which is nothing. Yep, I feel pretty depressed at this point, and honestly feel like dropping from the face of the planet for a couple weeks. I don't know. What I don't know, I don't know.. but I don't know.

And now we're back to the complicated Christmas plan which will never give me a steady answer for what the heck is happening in my life until the day I'm leaving.. and even then.. who knows..

Just Want To Know!

Right now I'm split between possibly leaving for Idaho shortly after Thanksgiving.. or leaving shortly after Christmas. I mean I'm not really torn between the two decisions.. I just want to know what's happening. I want to know if I should be starting to think about packing yet. I want an exact schedule that I can give people. Like.. I leave on this day, I get here on this day, I do this on this day, I leave for here on this day, and then blah. You know? I wanna know! I know I've said this plenty of times before.. but it's getting closer and closer to when school starts.. and I still don't have a clue what's going to happen. It's getting to the point however where I need to have a plan that I can tell people especially since my going up to Utah/Idaho involves so many people.. esp if I go for Thanksgiving! I have to come up with a plan.. and make sure it works with everyone else! I wish my life was simple like the rest of you. Everyone else knew exactly when they were leaving, AND coming back.. months and months ago lol. Posh.

Ear Update

Well I went in for my check up with my ear doctor, Dr. Scholl... you know.. that LONG AWAITED and several times POSTPONED appointment that I've been waiting for? lol. Well, I went in, and he basically just said he couldn't tell, so he was gunna put me under the microscope. So we went into another room, where I laid down on a bed/table thing, and he took out the remaining packing and blood and wax etc from my ear so that he could see. Aaaaaand... I still have a hole. Sorry, I know, not exciting news. Basically it's really high up on the ear drum, which should make my hearing a little better.. and it's really tiny. Once again he was about to tell me good news, and then he spotted it. It's just a tiny tear, a fraction of the size the hole used to be.. but it exists. So I'll check back up when I come back from BYUI for the fall.. and hope that it heals by itself for now. So I still can't get water in my ear, but it does mean that if I get on an airplane in the next while, I wont have to worry about the pressure changes bursting my ear.. cuz it's already broken! hah.

Anyway, there's your update.

Goodbye Lindy Lee

Well, last night I stayed my last night at Lindy's house. Alex came over after we picked him up from the local pub and we watched Singing In the Rain! Well, they did, I went to sleep on the couch hehe! I woke up briefly when Alex left, but then went back to sleep. I considered going and talking to Lindy, but i figured she'd come back eventually lol. I did get up once, but she was in the bathroom, so I did in fact go back to bed. Next thing I knew Lindy came in saying "Emily, it's 5:30!" and I jumped up, and we both changed and rushed for the next 10 minutes to get all her stuff into the car! Yay for staying up late.. and waking up late lol. We didn't really have a clue how to get to the airport... and ended up calling my parents.. hehe at 6 in the morning! yay for my parents. Through lots of speeding, and rushing, we got there! I parked the car at the drop off place, and helped her get her suitcases inside the airport.. and waited around until she had checked her luggage, and then we hugged goodbye. I'll miss her lots and lots. But right about now it looks like I might go live with her in Idaho for a month before school starts. And then maybe for the summer semester or later, we plan to be roommates! I mean come on! We've been living together for like two weeks and we're not sick of eachother.. what better sign than that is there?

I would have pictures from sending her off at the airport.. but we were in a rush and I left it in the car by accident. I'm assuming she got on her plane since I haven't heard from her yet. (We got to the airport at like 6:30 and her flight left at 7am) She's supposed to arrive in Idaho in the next twenty minutes or so though, where she will be met by her lovely sister! Hopefully I hear from her before the day is over anyways.

Another Fairwell

My dearest Lindy Lee has come to the decision to return home to Idaho early. She's been staying at my house for the past couple days, but will be returning to her house to make other fairwells before she leaves. Im not sure how much Ill see her the rest of this week, but hopefully a couple more times. I went with her to her house yesterday and helped her pack up books and things. Ill be keeping a bunch of her stuff like her books and other such things and take it up to idaho for her since she's flying up and has far too much stuff for one plane trip up, quite honestly. Besides me taking her books takes away alot of her weight. My mother keeps telling me to make sure I can actually fit all of my stuff and lindy's stuff and course other passengers in the car. but im sure itll work out. Especially now that its just me, mom and dad going up to idaho. Honestly I wouldnt mind leaving on a plane right now with Lindy and living with her for a semester or something. Hopefully we atleast find eachother whenever she goes back to BYUI if nothing else.
Soon I wish farewell to my lovely Lindy, but for now.. she wants to make "idaho spudnuts" lol. <3

"Reagan Black Out"

http://www.kxan.com/Global/story.asp?s=9154638&rnd=518.0324431630454

The big rivalry match of Reagan vs. LBJ has turned blackkkk.. I personally think this is spawned from the fact that the police, and the school administrators no longer allow seniors to stay the night before the Reagan game to protect the school (or illegally attack Reagan's campus haha). Though I am a bit surprised that the tshirt was created by teachers! I understand however, that it was likely for something radical to be done since they stripped seniors of a long honored tradition.. along with several others last year! And people may attack Mr Patterson for allowing the Tshirt to be sold.... but honestly, if he hadn't approved it, so many people would be breathing down his neck. So he had a lose-lose situation.

So basically, for those that don't know.. Reagan and LBJ used to be under the same roof, but they split long long ago before anyone of a decent age can remember. I just know about it because I'm amazing like that.. and it helps that all my siblings come from a completely different generation than me. So it's a big rivalry, even though Reagan sucks big time every year. This year the Reagan v. LBJ game is on Halloween! And they're calling it Reagan Black Out. Everyone's wearing black! And of course many will be wearing this radical, argumentative, school sponsored t-shirt.

I myself am GOING TO GO TO THIS FOOTBALL GAME! And I'm sure people will invite me to all kinds of other activites at the same time.. but this is an epic event I have to be there for haha. I'm going to wear my gothic pants hee hee, and this black shirt I have, and a gangsta hat. haha. it'll be exciting. And what better, it's the night before my birthday! So I'll be with my buddy Krista, just hours before my birthday. And it'll help me stay up for my long tradition of having a spoon full of mint chocolate chip ice cream at 2:07AM, the time of my birth.

FHE: take 2

Oh! I thought I'd let ya'll know the follow up on FHE. I tried again on Monday to go to the new UT FHE group, aaaaand I left my house like an hour early so that i had lots of time to find parking!!! And I indeed found parking. Just in time too, I was about to pay 6$ for a parking lot place. And I was introduced to Caroline and Eva, who are two other people in singles ward that are of the younger generation lol. Very nice, lovely girls that I'm hoping to get to know more! And I'm still working on Shanna and Virginia, and definitely clicking with Lindy. So, good news! =)
Just trying to be the social butterfly that I'm not lol. And being involved and amazing, like I am =P haha. loves!

Craig's List

Well I sold my turtle today! I had an ad up on Craig's list, and the guy called me back last night after Institute while I was listening to Lindy play! So we arranged for him to come to my house this morning at 10am, which happened. He showed up gave me my money and drove away. My turtle is now going to a lovely 1600 gallon koi pond where there is apparently also several hundred mosquito fish for the turtle, and the guy's giant frog to feed on! How exciting. He just called me (how sweet), to tell me that he's in his new home, and has been swimming from one end to the other, popping his head up and climbing on lily pads, and just having the time of his life! So that's great.

I started taking pictures of my empty tank today, so I can sell that next! I'll get a 100$ or so out of that, so that'll be nice cash to save up for college spending needs that are soon approaching. And I also got out my guitar, and started taking pictures of it and the case and instructional books etc that I have! how exciting I know!

I've already started cleaning my mouse cages and other tanks that I have a good collection of out in the garage so I can start selling those soon too! Other than that my life currently consists of watching movies and sitting on my computer, living from email to email, constantly on waiting lol. And going to institute, and the occasional hanging out with singles ward people, which is a fave. And of course, in Lindy's words, I must learn the language of "Lindy with her mouth full of food". Which I think will be a fun thing to do ;)
So life is pretty good right now! =)

Buddy!!

I went to institute tonight.. aand afterwards, I went and mostly listened to Lindy play piano, with the occasional outbursts of song, well maybe not occasional lol. And I joined in with her a couple times. Much to her surprise and my glee on one certain song written by Gordon B. Hinckley, which few know about. oOoo i know. Anyway, I wasn't really planning on staying long, because I meant to let her have her playing/practicing alone time which I know she enjoys. But it's purely too much fun watching her play, it never seems like a good time to leave!

And maybe it was meant to be, cuz when Bro Hopkins locked up the institute, we went outside to our cars, and Lindy asked me if I had had dinner yet.. which lo and behold I had not lol. So she told me to get in her car so she could kidnap me away to the closest fast food restaurant lol which happens to be Wendy's which is funny, since of course Wendy's is my traditional restaurant to eat at with my friends! Different Wendy's, and not at the round table, but still very close lol. It was a true kidnapping. Lindy the sweet dear even paid for my food, cuz my purse was in my car. I forgot eep. =/ anyway, she and I sat in her car and listened to amazing choral music with our eyes closed, tho I admit that I did watch Lindy for part of the time cuz it was funny and cute lol, until she caught me and yelled at me to close my eyes and FEEL the music! To be honest I have no idea how she can eat chocolate frosty with her eyes closed, I myself am not that talented lol.

Eventually she drove us back to the institute where we proceeded to chat and listen to more music until it looked like a car was soon approaching that might find her a bit in the way.. lol.. when she promptly ordered me out of her car lol. But I must say it was rather rejuvenating to do something fun and spontaneous, with a lovely new friend, that is quickly becoming a much better friend.
