Shopping Spree

Well, Ive started my winter clothes shopping spree! I've ordered new jeans, and sweater tights, and underwear hehe! And I've got a list of clothes that I plan on buying, on a website as soon as I sell my instruments and have money to spend!

I found a coat to buy that I'll be able to wear on sundays, and I found boots that wont get ruined in the snow, but that look casual and cute so I can wear them on a regular basis. And I've bought lots of yarn to make scarves with.. ! And I found some cute flannel pajama bottoms, and some thermal long sleeve shirts! Things are going well. Though I need to find a better source for long sleeve thermal shirts. I've only found a couple shirts that I like.

The main things I haven't really found yet, are sunday gloves, and new sunday (close toed) shoes! Other than that, I feel pretty set.

Though I'm starting to go crazy being stuck down here still. This last month is going to last forever. All my friends have their own lives now, so I sit on the computer most of the day, wasting away. Even with my last minute projects to try to keep me busy these last weeks.. it couldn't happen any later!!

Though, I do know I will miss being home soon enough, since I'm not coming home during spring break at all (so says the current plan).. I'll be gone for nearly a year. But I'm still going crazy. Quite literally..

One Month To Go

So I figure this upcoming week I'll work on all my Scrapbooking atleast until it's all finished!!! and the week after that will be Box sorting week. which means going into the garage and throwing away everything that I don't think I'll miss in 20 years. and putting all that i want to keep in hopefully one big tubbaware. And it also means boxing up or throwing away or giving away all the junk in my room that I don't plan on taking to college!! The 3rd week, I've declared SHOPPING WEEK.. so that's like clothes shopping for idaho, and christmas shopping alike! And the week after that is Packing / Hanging out with paula week, before I leave for Idaho!!!

Getting Ready

Well, I once again am feeling that need to GET READY. I've got about a month left, and a couple days before I go to Idaho. I'm just not sure what there is for me to do this early to get ready. I feel like time is starting to encroach and YET take forever.. but I just don't know how I can get ready. I ordered some clothes online today.. but there's still tons left for me to buy. I guess I needa get back on task about selling stuff. If I can sell my flute and my guitar.. I should be set I think for buying winter clothes. Though I feel some remorse about selling my flute, I never really planned on selling it cuz I'm attached to it even if I suck. But I suppose it's not really practical to keep a 700$ instrument I'm not playing.

And I needa finish all my scrap books. I've just felt overloaded for a while on it.. and have't had the heart or energy to start such a daunting task.

I have things I should be doing.. but I still feel like that's not enough to feel like I'm GETTING READY.. aaahhhhhhhh!!!

Taxi Service

While mom has been away to Arlington.. some of the people she visit teaches have come to rely on me for their rides across town that normally they would get from my mother.. I do not like the fact that they are so dependent on getting rides from my family that they will stoop low enough to ask the daughter of the person they know for a ride.. I may not do much during the day.. but I do not enjoy driving people around. And I certainly don't enjoy driving people around that have the gumption to backseat drive or try to correct my driving techniques. I'm supposed to give this lady a ride tomorrow.. that wants to be taken to someplace right off campus. Every bus in Austin goes to UT campus!!! There is no reason why she can't get herself there. One should never be so dependent on the help of other people that you are unwilling to use the resources around you.

I'm also going crazy by the fact that it is impossible to get through a single day without the phone ringing at least 5 times. Three of those times it's usually a telemarketer. Two of those times it's a real person that wants my mother. And once in a blue moon it's for me or my dad. I get up to answer the phone groaning "my mother is not here.. go away" lol. I've really started considering unplugging all the phones atleast one day this week so that I just don't have to answer the stinking phone.

Other than that, life is pretty good around here.. I've been reading alot the past couple days. I had an inspired moment the other day, and now have an idea for a story to write.. so that's exciting. My friend Lindy is most excited, cuz she was my inspiration lol. Or rather something she said, late at night! =D Mom has suggested that I can be my adult self and come and go as I please, if I leave a note for them informing them of where I'm going and some contact info etc, if i'm going to be home after 10. Too bad this is all happening after Lindy's gone! my stay out late buddy lol. Ill find ways to stay out tho.. it's exciting.

I've been spending alot of time lately looking at cold weather clothes to buy online. That's been what's been occupying my time alot lately anyways.. I'll be spending loots of money on it I'm sure. Which is why I've been trying to babysit as much as possible, to get some extra money for the task.

Happy Birthday Jarom

Well I was invited to go to over to Jarom's house after Stake Conference on Sunday, because his mother was holding a luncheon with brisket etc in celebration of Jarom's birthday last friday (the 7th). The food was good, and the company was good! So it was fun =) After everyone was done eating, some people left, but then we played Apples to Apples. Vanessa Nelson came over!! Apparently she walks the D's dog! She looks totally different. She joined us in our game, and then we had cake! It was really good cake. And then my daddy arrived to take me home.. and we ended up sitting there for another hour chatting. lol. Of course.

On a side note, President Hollingsworth is the new stake president! Paula's mommy and daddy can finally sit next to eachother in the pews! Good thing now that Paula's gone!

All Souls Day

Well my birthday was pretty much like most any other day. Took Brenda to work, took a nap.. ate food lol. While I was taking Brenda to work I didn't have my cell phone on me, cuz I didn't think about it, and because I would only be gone for 20 minutes. But during those 20 minutes Lindy Lee called me twice.. and ended up leaving me a message on my voicemail. It was the cutest thing ever.. a sing-o-gram wishing me a happy birthday. Her family is too cute. I tried calling her back but I just got the answering machine. Paula called next and we talked for a while, but then Lindy called back while I was talking to Paula and I told Paula I'd call her back. Lindy and I only talked for like a minute and a half before we lost the connection or something.. sadness. But I called Paula back and we talked for like another half hour. A little later, Michael called to wish me a happy birthday! Then I went to take my nap. Richard called halfway thru my nap and I was like.. ugh I'm sleeping lol. Not really, we talked for a few minutes, he wished me a happy birthday and then let me continue sleeping.

I thought about seeing a movie.. but I didn't know that I really wanted to pay for any of the movies out. I wanna see the Chihuahua movie, but I promised I'd see that with Jarom. So I emailed Jarom and arranged to see the Chihuahua movie after intitute on monday! Yay. Now I'm just waiting for some other good movies to come out.. I know they're coming! like Australia and Twilight! Anyways, around 10pm I called my friend Alex to see if he wanted to hang out, but apparently he went to sleep around 2 that afternoon, and hadn't ever really woken up. Poor guy. We're gunna hang out later in the week tho. He says someone should take me out for my birthday, so it'll be him.

If Grandma Fish we're still alive, it'd be her birthday today. So Happy Birthday Grandma!! I love you!

An Adult

Well, I can officially go clubbing with the girl friends!! haha. Seems like an odd concept, but I know many of my friend go clubbing. I stayed up until 2:07 as is tradition to have my spoonful of Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. I realize every year, how stupid of a tradition this is.. since it's incredibly hard to stay up that late when you're all by yourself without a buddy.. and it also seems incredibly pointless, and since you have nothing to do.. you realize just how much more fun it could be with a friend there lol. But, I managed to complete the tradition another year. When I get married my husband will have no choice but to wait up with me, which will make it better, cuz I'll have the buddy that I always wanted when I stayed up! ^_^ Anyway.. I'm 18 now. You can call me Jail Bait no longer!

Not like I haven't really been acting like I was 18 for the past couple months anyway. I've gone to a couple places with Lindy where you needed to be 18 lol. Besides that fact that while mom and dad were away, and while I was living with Lindy I made a habit of staying out until 1-4 in the morning. In fact.. I'm acting less like an adult now than I was a week ago lol. Not that I'm implying that all adult should or do stay out that late.. but YSA's do!! haha
