Well I still don't know if the hole in my ear drum has been fixed yet.. so this isn't that exciting of a message haha.. but I tried to put in a set of earrings today.. and discovered that the scar from where they made the incision to take fat from my earlobe, goes over the back of my hole in my right ear.. so I'll need to get my right ear pierced again.. lol. Lame, but oh well.
And I should find out if my surgery was successful in a week or two.

Solitaire Teeth
Well today I went to Dr Quaroni, not sure I spelled that right, but whatever.. He's a pretty cool character. Anyway, bottom line of the story is.. that I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed on October 2nd. Almost in time for someone's birthday! haha. And a month before my own! My top ones are slightly at an angle, and my bottom ones are straight. At any rate, he says they look pretty easy to take out, and he estimates my only being in the office for about an hour and fifteen minutes.. much better than when I waited around for Jeffrey to wake up from getting his wisdom teeth out.. at least 4 hours I know.. There's got to be something unhealthy about being put to sleep with an IV as many times on one's life as I have.. ho hum.
Anyway I kept busy today.. doing load upon load upon load of laundry. My blues/greens batch went in first, followed by my purples/blacks batch, followed by my whites, followed by my blankets, sheets, pillow cases etc... followed by my reds batch! Yah, lots of laundry.. I added another handful of clothes however to the closet devoted to stuff that I'm not taking with me to college however, and so can be given away. All my clothes fit in my closet now! Except for the long sleeve shirts I have in another closet lol.
In the between times of activities.. I was either.. folding laundry from a previous batch.. or playing solitaire on my laptop.. I played somewhere around 50 games before the day was over.. and I dont think I want to play another game of solitaire for a long while... lol.
Doing the huge attack on laundry was mainly because Jeff and Elessandra informed us that their exchange student from Taiwan had brought with her a rare chinese virus that.. there was a good chance I might have picked up since I had seen her twice in the last month, with plenty of contact to boot, while going ice skating..
Doctor told them to clean all the sheets and all that.. so mom was worried about me too. But, turns out she doesnt have a rare chinese virus.. it's just a not so ordinary bacterial dealie.. and I should be fine.. but atleast my closet looks pretty.
Besides that.. I turned in a bunch of videos today.. which leaves me... exchausted lol. Not the turning in the videos.. just.. everything lol. Anyway, gotta go.. sleepy time ^_^

Sporks: Spread the Word
I know everyone loved using that plastic spork during lunch at the cafeteria or at Taco Bell, or wherever you may have encountered the wonderful invention. However, there are no utensil companies that make METAL sporks.. soo I invite you all to take part with me.. in signing this petition for a utensil company to make metal sporks!
http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/968374036
However, I do want a spork for college.. cuz I mean.. you know all the cool cats have one =P haha. So I bought a spiffy weird one from REI that's a Spoon on one end and a fork on the other.. and the fork has one side that's serrated like a knife! Now isn't that spiffy?

Institute
Well I found out that I don't have to pay for institute here... so I signed up for two classes to give me something to do and to get out of the house every now and then. I have a class M/W 12-12:50 called Fundamentals of Scripture Study. I also have a class Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 on the New Testament. I've only gone to my afternoon class, with my friend Jarom so far, and besides Jarom and I there's only like 3 other people in the class haha. My evening class on Wednesdays will be full though I'm sure.
Singing the opening hymn in my afternoon class is interesting though, since I'm the only girl... aaand none of us can play piano.. lol. Lots of fun ^_^

Laptop
Well I bought a laptop today! Super exciting i know! Its an HP Pavilion.. if that means anything to you. lol. It has web camera.. so if anyone else out the the family and friends circle has a web camera... we can see eachother over the distances! Exciting I know. I had lots of fun playing with it earlier.
I got lots of gadgets to go with my laptop too.. thats what the picture's for! The thing on the left that's plugged into my laptop is a cable lock to shat i can connect my laptop to a table or my desk so no one can steal it! The black thing beside that is an extendable ethernet cable!
On the lower left hand corner of my laptop.. you'll see.... a remote!! I love things with remotes.. It's so I can watch a DVD on my laptop and not have to push buttons on the laptop itself. I can be sitting far away or laying down on my bed or whatever the case may be..
On the right you'll see a 2.0 USB hub! So I have 3 additional ports.. making 6 all together.. more than I'll need im sure.. but nice. I also got another 1GB memory stick! Now I have two.. I didnt think to include the other one in the picture lol oh well. Next thing you'll probably notice is my extendable MiniMouse! I figure I'll prolly use it in my classes.. it can be nicer than using the mouse on the laptop, depending on what your doing. Nice and portable is it not? And I also have a plain old wireless mouse that I'll prolly keep in my dormroom.
The laptop itself, is a 14.1 inch screen. And it's a dual core processor, with 3 GB of RAM and 250 GB of harddrive space (which after formatting and back up.. is more like 195 GB). I could give other specs but its not important. I have plenty of space and speed though.. since I also have a 250 GB external harddrive! ^_^ exciting I know. I'm all set. I've got all the programs Id like on it including Word and Excel and PowerPoint and Picasa and AIM etc.. Ive even got Norton Internet Protection. Ive still got more to do though.
I wasnt expecting to get my laptop anytime soon but my mom said shopping in december was a bad idea... chistmas makes for slim pickings. And we got really got deals for everything. So thanks bunches Mom and Dad! But of course, like my mother has taught me.. special thanks to Dad since its his money! ^_^

The Hunt
I feel at this point.. like looking for a job is pretty pointless. I mean it's already pretty unlikely for anyone to hire someone that's only going to be here until right after Christmas.. and by the time anyone manages to look at my application it'll be even less time that I'll have left. And I'm seriously sick of people bugging me about it. I don't want to talk about it, at all. Bugging other people about things may get them to do it eventually, or feel better... it's not helping. It makes me avoid it even further because then I just get doubly more frustrated about the whole ordeal. Just accept that I am different from you in your motivators. Seriously.
However, I need SOMETHING to do.. cuz I've been spending my days seriously sitting around doing nothing.. and watching the occasional movie.. and occasionally getting desperate enough to turn on the TV to get frustrated by the lack of shows lol.
Mom says I should look into volunteering at the local children's hospital or something.. that way I have something to do with my time. I dunno, sounds a little scarey, but we'll see.
I might end up taking a course at Austin Community College like.. college algebra or something that should easily transfer to BYUI.

Childhood Memories
Well Im about to go relive childhood favorites! I was at a Dinner Group the other night for Singles Ward, and we started talking about Anne of Green Gables, and they mentioned a "continuing story" that i dont think ive seeeeen.. so i really wanted to see that.. but I went to the library.. and somebody currently has it out.. as soon as my mother is awake.. Im gunna get her pin number and put it on hold! And.. while I was at the library, I noticed that there's also a prequel which I don't think I've seen.. that was also out .. that I will also have to put on hold! But I atleast got Anne of Green Gables, and Anne of Avonlea.. tho it'll be a little weird to be watching the Prequel, and then the "continuing story" lol. Atleast I'll have recently seen the middle parts. And I think there's a "sequel" too. I wonder which comes first, the sequel, or the continuing story... hmmm.. lol
And I also went over to another library to pick up a child hood favorite called Willy the Sparrow!! My mother gave our copy away to some sibling or other when they moved out and got married and had kids.. loooong ago.. completely without my permission I'm sure.. as it usually is when things disappear from my house. But I get to watch it now! yay!

Height
I went to my Endocrinologist today.. aand nothing very eventful, but she did of course (or rather, the nurse before her), take my weight and height!
And I have decided that I can officially start telling people that I'm 5'7" cuz I was only 2 millimeters under that. For the longest time I've been saying I was like 5'6.5" lol, but no more man! If you people that are really 5'3.25" can say your 5'4", then I can say I'm 5'7"
woot.

Church
Well this past sunday I went to Singles Ward all by my lonesome in a way, of course since I no longer had Michael and Paula to sit next to in our pew! However, I actually got there 5 minutes early this sunday, which in singles ward time.. is forever lol. There were about three other people there (maybe) lol. I ended up sitting down next to a girl named Ali, that used to be one of my YCLs at girls camp lol, she's about 19. I chatted with her for a while, until Tamara got there and she sat down on my left, and a girl named Michelle that I met in a dinner group a week ago, sat down next to Tamara as well. Eventually Ali left me, to go sit with some other people lol, so I was glad to have Tamara and Michelle! They're fun to talk to.
I realized during sacrament though, that it was weird not to have Michael's presence on my right side. Just felt empty.
And in Sunday School, Desiree and Jarom sat on either side of me. I kept having the instinct to put my arm around the person to my right.. but then I'd realize it wasn't Michael lol. And I missed having Paula to pass notes with!
